कोई नई बात लिखूं या अपने जज़्बात लिखूं

वही पुराने अल्फाज़ लिखूं या दिल की आवाज़ लिखूं

तेरी दिलकश जारी लिखूं या तेरा कातिलाना अंदाज लिखूं

 

अधूरी छोड़ी कहानी लिखूं या हमारी अनकही बातें लिख

तेरा मेरा इश्क लिखूं या उस इश्क का फरेब लिखूं

मोहब्बत की कविता लिखूं या दर्द की शायरी लिखूं

 

वो दिल पे लगी चोट लिखूं या आंखों से बहते आंसू लिखूं

हमारी जुदाई के वो पल लिखूं या इकरार की वो रात लिखूं

तुझे गलत लिखूं या खुद को बेवफा लिखूं

 

तेरी मेरी कहानी लिखूं या तेरा-मेरा नज़रिया लिखूं

साथ बिटाया वो हर पल लिखूं या तेरे बिन कट ति हर शाम लिखूं

Koi nayi baat likhu ya apne jazbaat likhu

Wahi purane alfaaz likhu ya dil ki awaaz likhu

Teri dilkash aadaein likhu ya tera kaatilana andaaz likhu

 

Adhuri chodi kahaani likhu ya humari ankahi baatein likhu

Tera mera ishq likhu ya us ishq ka fareb likhu

Mohabbat ki kavita likhu ya dard ki shayari likhu

 

Wo dil pe lagi chot likhu ya aankhon se behte aansun likhu

Humari judaai ke wo pal likhu ya iqraar ki wo raat likhu

Tujhe galat likhu ya khud ko bewafa likhu

 

Teri meri kahani likhu ya tera-mera nazariya likhu

Saath bitaaya wo har pal likhu ya tere bin kat ti har shaam likhu

Tere naam ki ye zindagaani likhu ya meri nilaam ki zindagi likhu
